This game brought us the first tie this season. A great defensive battle in the first period, which produced no scoring but great goaltending, saves by both the Chisago Lakes goalie and North Branch’s Nick Johnson. North Branch was up 2-0 late in the second period with Goals by Randy Hoff and Ben Henderson. Then the scoring opened up in the third period resulting in a 4-4 tie. Alex Miller scored on a breakaway and Eric Chilstrom’s persistence made the these two goals happen. The kids really seem to be improving greatly each game. They are skating faster, passing is improving and overall teamwork!
