The C-Mite team has been busy working hard on skating, stickhandling and passing. All of our games have been very equally matched. The opponents coaches have commented on how well the team is on their fundamentals especially off sides. We recently played Cambridge/Isanti pulling off a 7-6 win. With the offensive team of Jared Axberg (1 assist), Joe Courtright (1goal), Cody Larson, Coleton Danks (1 goal and 1 Assist), Ben Henderson (1 goal), Randy Hoff (1goal), Mason Niederkorn, Alex Miller (2 goals), and Logan Klatt (1 goal) their passing skills in this game were wonderful. The defensive team of Eric Chilstrom, Louis Kastenbauer, Ryan Zentner and Brandon Timm (1 assist) kept our team ahead to pull the win. Nick Johnson in net for his first win.
Vs. Champlin Park
Despite great efforts the Vikings lost to Champlin Park with a score of 5-4. The scoring for this game was back and forth, very exciting to watch. Offensive players of Joe Courtright, Alex Miller (2 goals), Jared Axberg, Eric Chilstrom (1 goal), Ben Henderson (1 goal, 1 assist), Logan Klatt, Mason Niederkorn (1 assist) and Cody Larson shot many shots at Champlin especially late in the 3rd period. Scoring chances by all but just couldn’t put behind their goalie. The defense line of Nick Johnson, Ryan Zentner, Brandon Timm and Louis Kastenbauer and goalie Randy Hoff gave great efforts.
Vs. Pine City
This was a very fast paced game lots of stick and puck action. Shots on both goalies were high. Scoring in this game were Mason Niederkorn (4), Alex Miller (3), Ben Henderson (1). Joe Courtright (4 assists), Cody Larson (1 assist), Eric Chilstrom (1 assist) Coleton Danks (1 assist), defense team of Ryan Zentner, Brandon Timm, Jared Axberg and Nick Johnson skated extremely hard. Goalie Randy Hoff had 21 saves.
