5-0, Arena Resolution Passes

On September 26, the North Branch City Council voted unanimously in support of the resolution that identified three specific properties that were up for consideration for a future ice arena in North Branch.

We are still in the opening minutes of the first period of work towards realizing our goal of having not only an ice arena, but having a facility that may provide other recreational opportunities for area families and their children.

We want to thank the City Council and its staff for the speed and degree of involvement it has shown since the passing of the initial resolution. The Arena Committee looks forward to the continuing efforts between the association and the City of North Branch to bring a facility of this magnitude to our community.

The passing of this resolution will now enable us to move forward with the other necessary aspects of the process. Please continue to read the web site and newsletter to track the latest developments and learn about the timeline of activities and how you can be involved!
